: SES Light After EcuTek and CAI install

Hey all, slight problem here. Had my AGP CAI installed today, and got an EcuTek Flash done at Dyno4mance in Georgia. Pulled some great numbers for the car still being pretty stock. Anyway, about an hour and a half through the drive home the SES light pops on. I stop and check under the hood, everything is connected nice and tight, nothing is off or whatnot. I turned car back on, still SES light. I gave her a few runs, and there is no power leak or anything, she still runs perfect, but just has SES light.

If I disconnect the negitive on the battery and let the Ecu reset, will I keep my EcuTek flash that is in, or will it reset to stock? Also, where can I head to beside the dealer to have them check the engine for any codes being thrown? Thanks a ton guys.

your tune will not be erased if you reset the battery, you're better off going to a mechanic or autoparts store to get the codes pulled. if you take the car to the dealer they may void your warranty due to the mods.

Thanks Joey, I appreciate it. Looks like I will check the battery option tonight, and if it pops back up, go and pull the codes.

also you might want to talk to your tuner and see what they say

just let the Dyno4mance guys know you are throwing a code and I am pretty sure they will take care of it. I also got my tune from them, what # did you end up with?

That was all with the Gruppe M/Coltspeed intake I think. I hope my AEM wont do that to mine.
