So I see a lot of folks saying they asked the dealer NOT to drill holes and mount the plate. I live in NYC, so a front plate is a MUST. What's the way to go on this???

If I had know about this before mine got screwed on, I would have gotten it. I actually am use to & like the look of the factory mounting, but if you don't want holes, that link may be a good choice. Mitsu did install the OEM mount for free though.

exactly zip tie it to the front grill in the corner tuck it in as much as possible so not to cover the intercooler too much. i had the same dilemma so that was the best option I could find.

I took mine off, but unfortunately it was already drilled in so now it's just the three black grommets .. but even that looks better than the plate.

Yea thank god the car I got had not had the holes drilled and plate mount installed. As we were closing the deal he takes it and goes "what do you want me to do with this", lookin like he was gonna install it. hahaha I was like yea you can stick that up your ass! But even he knew I probably wouldn't want it on there, he was like yea corvettes can get away with it. Needless to say, my front plate is still in my back seat and thats where it will stay.

i would say ziptie or double side tape it on :thumbup:
