Kind of a noobish question, but I've never had a set of designated winter tires. I used to just run crappy UHPAS tires all year long. My question is what is the life expectancy of a set of Performance Winter tires such as the Blizzak LM-25? They don't give treadwear ratings. I know that running them in temperatures above 50 may shorten their life. I plan on putting them on within the next two weeks, so that shouldn't be an issue. Could I expect 10,000 miles out of them? Or is that being way too optimistic? I plan on using them from NOV-MAR and hope to get about three seasons out of them during these months. I try very hard to keep my mileage down to under 10,000 miles a year. So far I'm doing very well. 4,300 miles in 6 months! So I figure to run these tires around 12,500 over three seasons. Sound reasonable?
