I posted a Dark Metal Gray GT-R that I admired so much and it's absolutely beautiful and this Gray Evo comes close. So final answer Gray hopefully US spec gray will be like this or better. How about you guys did you got your colors already or still thinking SST or 5MT?

That grey is looking nice. That's what I chose, and it is coming with manual, and hopefully with SSS package. If no SSS package I will push out my purchase to a later production unit, and think some more on tranny and techie stuff in the MR.

"wide opening" to keep the engine cool. 0-60 in 3.5 . That engine has got to put out a lot of heat..

The only thing (besides the SST) that I could live without in the MR is the suspension...because I'm going to want to drop it anyway.

If I wanted a black car, and that is the black they are offering, then I would be disappointed.

I'm still diggin the silver pics that I saw previously.

With all the extra in the MR, shouldn't perform better than the GSR? or the weight kind of cancels out the extra performance?

I just ordered my EVO X MR today and I always buy black so I asked if the black is the same as the regular Lancer in black and the sales guy said yes. I believe him as he went to the seminar recently where they had the silver, red and black EVOs.

Have seen both Phantom Black and White Pearl in the flesh. Wanted to say that the Phantom Black looks... black. It does not have the cool gunmetal tone you see in the first few pics of this post.

Which was why I went for white.

I agree about that color. I'm not normally a big fan of gray cars, but that dark metallic gray is fantastic, especially with the dark silver BBS wheels.

Do you think guys the rear diffuser is painted?because I don't like un painted plastic that will be paded later especially after car washes and waxing. The front end grill is painted not unlike in the prtotype or concept that looks cheap plastics.If it is a carbon fiber it will be the best.

itll probably be unpainted plastic. thats a high chip area, plastic would be the best bet. normally i agree with you about fading plastic, and most of it does, but hte protege 5 side view mirror plastic always looks shiny. i dunno wtf its made of. maybe itll be that same plastic?
