Cool!

Just stumbled across Rev, which is a program in development for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

It's only in its early form now, performing simple readings with the accelerometer, but the full fledged version will have the ability to connect to a Wireless OBDII connector. From the program, you should be able to read and clear codes, monitor readings, etc.

I'll be keeping an eye out!

Meh. I have an iPod Touch for my music and school. It runs lots of great applications. As much as I'd like to have an iPhone, the only things I wish I had was the camera and the ability to text message. The main building I spend most of my time in has complete g coverage, so I am never away from email.

If this comes out and is "inexpensive-ish", I may be looking into it! I'm a little worried about the cost of the WiFi adapter for OBDII. I guess only time will tell...

and yet they tell you to try out the trial, but dont offer the hardware yet??
ill prolly end up getting it though. looks bad ass! wouldnt that be neat if they could figure out a way to pull the boost reading/control out of that!

Shouldn't matter. It's an OBDII Reader.

doesnt matter. as long as your car has obd II support, and like almost every car does from like 96 or 97 and above. something like that i believe.

you cant, you need to BUY the ElmCanII-WLAN for it.

and i believe the hardware is sold out right now online.

you just have to be patient and wait. hopefully in that time we can see the price drop because it looks like a fun little toy that could impress the avg passenger in our evos :p
