Checked mine cold the other day and the pressure was 20lb which I think is to low. I filled to 34. I always check pressures when there is a major change in weather > 25 degrees

I know alot of evo's were never PDI'ed correctly ( go figure) Meaning a lot of people took delivery with over 40+ psi in the tires- I think mine were 45 psi- they should be at 32. So if you have never ever had the tire pressure checked. I'd go out there and do so now. The $15 on a digitial pressure gauge could save some big $$$ and headaches in the long run. 20 psi?? wow, I had a screw in one of mine and it only dropped to 26 psi sitting over night. And somehow I thought it was just cause it was there 1st cold day of the year. drove on it, and the tpms went away as the tire wamed up. I guess driving at highway speeds for 30 mins allowed the rubber to melt and form a seal around the screw. Cause I filled the tire up and it held for well over a month (and a 30 minute touring session, which I am sure helped just seal it that much more). Wasn't until I put my winter tires on that I noticed a small screw in the tire.

The lesson here is check your tires lol, and check them when they are cold.

You guys have nitrogen filled tires correct? How much are you paying? Because I have to pay a certain amount for the amount of nitrogen I use.

Yeah....they gave me Nitrogen Performance filled tires...but I have to go to the dealership to get them filled up because they have the tanks there.....Supposedly it doesn't expand the tire as much as regular air when it is heated.

nitrogen will make the tire warm up slower since it is a noble gas.
maybe thats good for street, but not for track

Tires lose air. 1 lb per month and 1 lb per 10 degree temp drop. Check them at least monthly!

You should invest in a digital tire pressure gauge and check them once a week or so. Doesn't take long to do and it's a good preventative safety/maintenance measure.
