As much as the small car bit was a lot of fun, did anyone else miss that there was no major production part of the episode? First episode had the lightweight supercars + driving road thing, second had the car boats again, but the third episode.. nothing too wild.

Well you do know about all the drama and why the show almost didn't come back, right? With that in mind this was to be expected. However, it is much better then what I had worried it would have been. So I'll accept this extra mainstreamness for now, as long as the show still MOSTLY feels like Top Gear.

They were the top watched show on BBC... So BBC demanded that they do more silly stuff to appeal to the masses. The guys didn't like that idea because it's supposed to be a car show. But they worked out a kind of middle ground and that's why this season isn't quite the same as before.

I'm not sure when it will start airing on BBC America, as Time Warner Cable is a bunch of sloths and we don't get BBC America in Rochester --I did when I was on campus at RIT, which is also time warner cable, so it's a little ridiculous.

As for downloading the episodes, the show airs Sunday evening in the UK and by Sunday evening east coast time (around 9pm-ish) the episodes are usually online on various sites that I can't mention publicly.

Mondays at 8pm EST. 4 episodes per night. Two back to back, then an hour break, then another two (usually the same two).

On BBC America? Showing random episodes or a specific season?

Damn, I could really finish my top gear collection if I could just set my mythtv server to record them all. I despise you time warner cable

First of all I like the car.... but I'm dissappointed that still they did not test the car in thier track. Why?, because Bugatti wont let them, Why again? because it's not really that fast in the bend considering it has 1000hp. As the evidence of their 7:40 nur lap time. GT-R overtaken this in some nurburgring vidz. With 1000hp that should be the fastest production car or even faster than other modified version of Zonda Porsche etc. For a $1 million 1000hp supercar Bugatti has the responsibility to be the fastest in Nurburgring and not just the top end speed. And I believed this car was beaten by a modified 1000hpViper too.

they just wanted to show they were capable of making the fastest production car in the world, with all the comfy luxury amenities a person could want. It's not a track car. Sucks that Bugatti won't let them test it on the track --why should they care, they didn't build it to be a track monster, so it wouldn't be that embarassing to lose to some less powerful cars.

I watched the movie right after the last episode... thanks to that it felt like one giant episode to make me happy. If the movie hadn't been released that same day, however, I would have been extremely upset but the complete lack of 'Top Gear' in that episode.

I don't mind the fun stuff, but it should be part of the episode, not the whole thing.

I like the 'special' episodes. What are you talkin about movie released the same day?
