soopah 10-31-2007, 11:12 PM Very nice! Would that roof scoop mod in a daily driver be a little ricey for Vancouver? If it rains do I get wet? :)
soopah 10-31-2007, 11:16 PM These ladies are also enjoying 'street life' :)
Do cars and cosplay go together in Japan? I'm thinking I should get an anime figurine for my Evo's dash. What might be suitable???
DaemonSadi 11-01-2007, 12:14 AM ZOMG!!!! I need a tissue...
That's the orange that I want mine in... minus the stripes and all the decals... just straight up that orange.
Hmmm it doesn't look like it glows too much... do you guys think that orange would be a total cop magnet?

_Chris_ 11-01-2007, 12:48 PM At least they serve a purpose. These RS models dont have A/C.
shadywade 11-01-2007, 04:44 PM is that all the do provide air for the inside?

Yes, that would be ricey.

What color/package/trim will you be getting?
Miss Evolution 11-02-2007, 09:34 PM What color/package/trim will you be getting?
Honestly, I am not quite sure yet.. but I am leaning more towards that Evo X Twin Clutch SST with 6-speed automated manual transmission in silver (although someone wants me to get the special edition black... whatever they call that color). I hope I am making the right decision here *crosses fingers* :)

Phantom Black :peace:
_Chris_ 11-03-2007, 12:06 AM Phantom Black Pearl...I think. Im too lazy to look it up.
TriStateEvo 11-03-2007, 06:46 PM That's a beautiful f*ckin car... cant wait to get mine.
You're in Jersey; I'll make sure you get yours.
soopah 11-04-2007, 08:39 PM Man, I wish I could get one from you KMXxBadboy, we are so being screwed in Canada. For so many years we couldn't get the car, now we can but are expecting to pay an arm, leg and lung for for it, and we can't get the equipment we want on it!
TriStateEvo 11-05-2007, 03:17 AM soopah, how I wish you had a relative that lived right accross the border, say in Albany. LoL. As long as I can register a car in the US, I can RDR it and you can transfer paperwork from that relative to you. =).

Thanks for the offer to buy an Evo from you through my American cousin, but the US Evo cannot be imported to Canada anyway. Remember the Canadian Evos are supposed to be 1.9 inches longer and I think it is related to passing the 8 km/hr bumper test we have.
TriStateEvo 11-05-2007, 02:49 PM 1.9 inches longer? Nothing a little implant surgery can't take care of.
cksdayoff 11-06-2007, 12:45 AM if the phantom black or tarmac black are going to be a bitch to clean, i think i'll go for the WW MR.
silvreclipse 11-06-2007, 12:50 AM i'll get black but i prolly will drive the car only on the weekends, meets, events, car shows or track days oh yeah and for autox.

Yeah, I wish it were that easy, hmmm, but it may yet be. If we know the difference between the cars, and it comes down to a different bumper only, then you could just buy a bumper in Canada and put it on a US Evo. Would have to do a lot of leg-work to see if that would work and be allowed into Canada.

Someone mentioned seeing the phantom black pearl in person and that it was just black, not dark grey like it seems in many pictures. You must need a lot of light to make it look grey. I think I will have to see the colours in person before I decide. I'm usually not too concerned about car colour, but for some reason I care more this time.
tres-equis 11-06-2007, 06:20 PM they have some great cars for sale in that site.! love the X...~

Yup. That's me... we can get access to the JDM cars where I live pretty soon after the cars hit the showrooms in Japan. The car looked good in "black", but a little subdued... Wish the car came in the gunmetal colour shown in your avatar. I would have been a little torn between that and the white.
Kooldino 11-07-2007, 03:43 PM Where do you live, gumby?
gumby 11-07-2007, 05:04 PM Singapore.
The official Mitsubishi distributor here has a bit of a lag in bringing in the Evo X. As such, enthusiasts are purchasing their cars from parallel importers (perfectly legal btw!), who brought in the cars within a week of the official launch date on 1 Oct 07. There are already a couple of Evo X MTs on the road. This is also the case in Hong Kong, I believe.
As for me, I want an SST as a daily driver... Official distributor will bring it in only in July/August 08 (apparently Mitsu Japan allocated them the May 2008 production for the vehicle, so they are screwed), so I'm going with the parallel dudes.
_Chris_ 11-07-2007, 09:32 PM Wow all the way from Singapore. So you guys are getting JDMs?
Miss Evolution 11-12-2007, 08:53 PM Wow... people from all over the place are here. Its nice to know.
I may be living in Jersey right now. But I am a socal chic. I will be moving back pretty soon, and I will buy my Evo there. Thanks for the offer though Mike. Your car is looking nice... keep it up.
