Heyhey!
I'm in need of some help here.
I have a Defi Oil pressure gauge that I have wired up for power , but I'm none too sure how to set-up the rest of it.
So, does anyone know where the oil pressure source is?
Thanks in advance!
Umm...think you need to have a special adapter and a oil pressure sensor.....because I heard that if you source it STRAIGHT from the car's stock setup it will throw a light (WHAT I WAS TOLD) so you need an adapter to SPLIT it from the car to the gauge....
Mine is a digital reading, and it came with a Oil Pressure Sensor...but I have to wait for the adapter that the shop ordered for me.

Should be able to buy an oil filter adapter plate. This will allow you to install either an oil pressure sensor or oil temp sensor or both. You can usually find these anywhere ie. lancershoppe, ebay, whatever. Hope this helps.

P.S. The X has A-pillar mounted airbags so the triple a pillar gauges may not be such a good idea.

By "adapter", I'm sure you guys mean a "tee".
Here's one that I sell for the Mazdas.
In this case, you would put the sender unit in place of the oil feed line:

Does anyone know what kind of threads are used in the block? NPT? BSPT?

Poppycock. This issue has been covered, not starting that conversation in here.
If I could find out what tee to get that would be great. Thanks guys.
Ive heard mixed things on plates...
