I remember reading somewhere awhile back that someone figured out no lift shift by adjusting the time that the ecu waits during launch control and then it worked it every gear. And I believe the guy was using an AP, but it might have been ecuflash, it has been awhile....
oh yeah, now I remember they, I think it was Gunzo, adjusted the speed limiter that activates the launch control rev limit and the delay for the launch control to be activated, the rev limit set by the launch was also adjusted to whatever was needed for no lift shifting.
Basically the launch control went from being activated below ~5mph with the clutch depressed for ~1sec, to being active the instant the clutch is pressed at any speed. So your no lift shift is just a remapped launch control.
It's great for drag racing but not for every day setup. GM has it on the cobalt ss but it isn't running all the time. Engaging into competition mode engages the ECU to let this occur.
Keep it on a map to flip too and its ok
