Somebody on here called NGK and they claimed the 2012 are rocking the 7's.

Great customer service! Sent pm yesterday about 3:45, got a response in under 30mins. That was impressive enough, but then I received my spark plugs today! 7 hours after ordering!

The guy is right about the plug change. i called ngk as well and the guy was shocked when he pulled it up. i guess they went one hotter in 2010. not sure why, but for now i'm going to use the plugs you sent...

If you find out more info, please post it.


Edit- this will complicate things even more. I just changed my plugs and pulled out bkr8s...i have a 2010. Maybe mine is early 2010, or maybe the plug change was an afterthought that didnt spread back to '08. fun!

I recommend the 8's for all Evo X's especially after mods.

wait, 2010+ has a hotter plug? looks like i'm going to go home and verify. if so i will be ordering a new set of 8s.
