I havnt read anything conclusive on the difference of internals obetween both cars. Different spark plugs same injectors. Dunno about cams pistons rods etc tho. Hopefully I.don't have to see mine on a table anytime soon.

Yeah, once BitsuMishi's motor is apart at Kaizen Tuning I'll see if we can clean up the stock parts and do a comparison. Mine will be under the knife as well so a direct side by side should be possible. Best we can do is say if they "look" different via visual evidence. Of course one of his rods is going to look a lot different than one of my rods..

The engine and all internal components are identical (crank, pistons, cams, etc). Spark plugs are a different heat range, due to less power.
Also RA exhaust is 2.38", X exhaust is 2.78".

nice, so i think we are in the road to same engine lol.. well guys i like to announce that i picked my evo x turbo and intercooler for my rallyart last night. only has 5000km it looks amazing and really clean and new lol. so pounder this is where i really need help lol.. so i know i have to get the evox swap kit from map right. and then i have to get the o2 housing, is the o2 housing lol and down pipe the same? and test pipe with cat. do i have to change o2 sensors? how about injectors or fuel pump? and finally lol i need to get a manifold for the turbo, should i get a stock one or aftermarket.. one more thing, when i instal all this can i drive it to be tune? or will it be a bit dangerous to drive with all this mods without tune,

if i had peanut butter in my gas tank would that clog it cause the fuel pump is different than the evo?

yeah they kept the manifold. i really want it lol.. i have already done the cb system, is the o2 sensor housing same as the down pipe? just wondering.. so i can use the fuel pump and injectors on my ra with this mod then? now if i instal this parts is it safe to drive for tuning
