Average rates and pricing?

To say the least, I am sick and tired of my girl's damn 98' VW bug. We're getting married around Aug and that will be the first thing to go. I've talked her into the lancers. She is wanting an auto because she's tried of stick and would like the sun roof.

Is the ES the best package for the given scenario? Or am I missing something else. (Not going to buy a GTS)

Also, what seems to be the best price you've been seeing these sold at so I have some back bone when it comes to bashing numbers? I'll be looking to purchase one around the Idaho & Utah region, but if the numbers aren't in my favor, I'll purchase one from Cali and have it shipped here like I did my X.

I'm just tired of dumping my money and time into fixing that P.O.S. bug every time it breaks. Damn German black hole is what it is.

Thanks in advance.

I bought myself a Lancer DE 2010 CVT transmission. My Girlfriend loves it, awesome dd. No problems what-so-ever.

If she wants a sunroof I am pretty sure the ES is the best package.

However if you're being money smart, I would go with the DE as it is pretty much the same model.

10 year warranties on the transmissions, veryyy niiiceee.

Bump.

Went to a dealer in salt lake and noticed they have AWD lancers now. I guess I haven't been up to date with all the new features coming out.
Anyone have any experience or valuable info on them?

I like the idea of ditching the FWD because we live in Idaho and the winters can be a little harsh.

An no, I don't think I'm going to make the move on a Ralliart. Insurance and the price of it would mean I'd have to get rid of my work pickup.

The AWD is just new on the ES in 2012. I would go for it. I can't talk pricing for the states. Only know Canada for the Lancers. But as far as packages go, in Canada we have the Sun and Sound package. I would look to get that in there so you get the rockford fosgate system, sunroof and bluetooth. The ES is the middle of the road and comes with much more comfort goodies than the DE. I don't think the DE comes with heated seats for example. I know it doesn't come with fog lights, etc. Good luck! I'm sure she'll love it. I love mine... just wish it was an Evo! lol :P

if you go to mitsubishi web site you can build one with the options you need and get a good idea on the sticker price.
