I dont track mine, so I've never received the Overheat but you guys sure do have your work cut out for you, it would be very frustrating while you are at the track.

Only time on the track in the evo was actually at your home track though I really enjoyed taking the evo on Sears Raceway.

Or perhaps going with an upgraded thermostat, HKS or Mishimoto

Thermostat isn't going to help. Maybe on the 1st session, but my first session never runs into overheat. I can guarantee you that the thermostat is wide open from the get go during my sessions later in the day, so one that opens early wont help, unfortunately...

such a great thread, learned a lot reading through this and a few other Orthojoe threads today.
Also got me so incredibly excited to do track days and thinking about what tires I will be getting, along with some other track day prep things like a fire extinguisher.

You should just do what Wa did and move into an e36 m3. Next year I'm going to start shifting the money I spend into my e36 m3 sedan. At least that thing comes with a front tow hook standard!

Waiting for my engine rebuild to be finished, should be done within two weeks, which is why I'm really ramping up my prep. I want to have everything totally ready so when I hit the track I have as few issues as possible.
