Why to ALWAYS use a CC with private paypal payments

A few of you have probably seen this. An addict kid with an undeveloped frontal lobe sells a bunch of parts he doesnt have. Acts like it was someone who stole his account. Cleaned his bank account before issuing refunds on all the payments. Payments show as refunded until a few days later when they fail to clear from his bank account.

I use paypal every day and I did NOT know this loophole existed. It seems paypal is not taking responsibility for this kind of scenario. Can this be?

The only way around this is to dispute this kind of fraud with your credit card. They will 100% cover you. But those who pay with direct bank payments get shafted!

People you dont know, buisness you dont know, use only AMEX. If they dont take it, that is too bad. I buy it from some where else then.
No one solves problems for you better, that is the only reason why i have a card from them.

I dont mean a paypal credit card, I mean making a payment with paypal by using your credit card on file instead of your bank directly.

you should always pay for everything with a credit card. Never a debit, or link a bank account to paypal or anthing else you make payments with. You can dispute anything with any credit card charge...

They take American Express, I even have a Costo AMEX card. I agree with Robevo, I use AMEX for everything if possible.
Paypal tries to default to using your bank account, which is irritating. I'm sure its because they don't want to pay CC fees.

The link says the guy had his PAYPAL card stolen. I ALWAYS use my credit card and NEVER use my bank account that is linked to the account.
