Okay, your current ROM ID is 53050006.

Your tuned ROM doesn't have "mode23" enabled, so you don't yet have the best logging method. My guess is your logging wasn't done mode23 style...

That ROM ID doesn't have a lot of definitions for it. Unless your tuner was an absolute Evo X ROM guru, it's likely what you see is what you get. ie. No special tables tweaked beyond the basics (timing, fuel, boost, limits).

To that end, it should be totally straightforward to move you over to a newer (and better defined) ROM ID. I've even put my (free) money where my mouth is, and whipped one up for you. Attached.

Take a look at this ROM, with latest goldenevo.com XML of "53050009". It's got tons more tables defined than your old one, so more tuning flexibility.

I've copied over your tuner's table edits, so in theory the attached ROM (new ID 53050009) should have exactly the same boost, fuel and timing as your current "tuned" ROM (53050006).

The new one also has...
  • mode23 logging enabled. Lets you log heaps more.
  • A couple of SST related tables zeroed out - the ones that encourage clutch-slip whenever actual boost goes over target boost. Bad mechanism. Those are my number one "must edit" tables for SST, lol.

Other folks on here, please feel free to check my edits. It's straightforward to load up old tune and new into EcuFlash, then "Compare". Please do.

This is pretty much meant just as an example. I'm not "e-tuning" you, lol. But you can see a huge increase in available tables on this attached ROM version, which gives you control of so much more. You absolutely do NOT have to flash it or do anything with it. But perhaps it will help you get a better understanding of your car's tuning potential.

Cheers,

Rich

yeah the 53050009 is the one we all use in Australia and for Euro cars aswell, I would advise you to migrate across.
If you choose to stick with your current tuner in Spain, get a copy of the xml from GoldenEvo to him as a starting point!
or use one of us on here that does e-tunes who will happily help sort a few things out for not much money at all, and you can enjoy your car a whole lot more

Use Richard's rom he sent you^^^^^ and go from there

You should be able to make a lot more power and run at the very least 1.7-1.8 bar safely on your car that will taper to 1.2-1.3 bar by 7000rpms. Right now you are still on what appears to be boost levels similar to stock.

It may be in your best interest to get a remote tune from a respected tuner in the USA with plenty of experience tuning this platform. There are many on these forums that are very capable of helping you.
I would say 3 port is ok to tune on an SST atleast mine was.. :\

Using a 3-port is a great idea, just make sure you limit the WGDC ramp-up on SST (to prevent over boosting on spool-up)

These two...

SST Torque Reduction On Exceedance
SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map

Note: Some people zero out the "SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map Percent" instead of "SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map". I'm not sure it matters which is done. But there doesn't appear to be any "percent" filter for the other one, "SST Torque Reduction On Exceedance".

I think my SST tables definition is not correct.

I have EDM definition "SST Dev Tables for: MR 53050012"
and i need "53050006". (i see bad numbers when i load my hex)

Do you know where i can get "53050006 SST tables" definition?

See my post earlier, #11 for an explanation. It still stands.
