^if you do it correctly. Demon are you using compound and then polish? Because you should never just polish, or just compound and polish. It should be compound, polish, wax every time. just use the spray cleaners from meguiars and such in between.

You Clint have to compound if you polish. You can just polish. BUT you need to wax and yes get the residue and dust off the car
