iPhone 5 Thread

A week after the phone was available for preorders, I walked into Frys electronics to purchase ink for my printer. Over the PA they announced they had a few iPhones and to go over to electronics to inquire if interested. So I walked over and they had one black 32GB available. I bought it. I thought I would have to wait over a month to get it. Right place right time!

Received confirmation yesterday... Tuesday its here... To think I pre ordered 4 hours after the pre ordering became available.. FML

My wife had an iphone fro ages, so we did go to get a iphone5. She looked at it playd with it for while.
then we left with a samsung galaxy s3.
She loves it. According to her she is done with the i phone. She said she got bored with the iphone. Lol

So I got my iPhone on Thursday, played with it for about 2 hours then went to Busch gardens and lost it off the top of a rollercoaster..

I filed a lost and found report and the next day they called me saying they found it at the bottom of kumba(rollercoaster). I went back to pick it up from the office and this thing has almost no scratches, just the sides a little bit.

When I walked in the guy says "man are you lucky, your phone flew off the top of the rollercoaster and lands in the grass with virtually no damage" I reply with yah I can't believe it. He then tells me "hope u don't mind but I played with it a little it's the first that has come through here lol"

By the way I had no case or anything (waiting for life proof)

are you kidding me? I learned 3 important things today

1. Phone stronger than I thought.
2. folks CAN be honest and go out of their way.
3. You are lucky and must go to Vegas immediately.

Such a waste for this phone!!!! There's only a few differences from my 4s phone and the iPhone 5. They changed the charger as well to get more money out of the product. The iOS update is amazing and I don't see the point in paying that much money for a phone that isn't much different than the 4s

There's plenty of differences! The iOs definitely performs much better on the 5 vs either 4. From just my short experience with the 6 program on both 4's.

The charger is one of the main changes on the 5.

Plenty of changes like what?

Faster processor.
Larger screen.
New Charger.


Meh. The differences between each generation of iPhone have always been relatively small compared to the differences in generations of Android phones.
