I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the only one is in the return line by where it returns in the tank, and the fuel sock on the pump.

The stock fuel filter, similar in style to all other 2000+ MY Mitsubishis, is the housing the in-tank fuel pump slides into. The whole fuel pump/filter assembly clips into the fuel hanger/basket/cup.

Basically, it's with the fuel pump under the rear seat cushion.

I'd be surprised if you need to change it. But if you do, its under the back seat, driver's side. There's a spring loaded panel that is under there, you pop that, life the fuel bucket out (slowly!), pull the fuel pump out of it, and it's clipped to the bottom of the fuel pump.
