Valve lash, maybe, timing chain stretch.


Today, I was satisfied with how my car pulls and how much power it's making. Weird feeling. I think once you hit that "oh shit this car is fast" level it's pretty easy to move on to other modifications.

This weekend I might install my Whiteline RCA kit!

You can go ahead and remove the upper timing chain guide if you'd like. Newer model year Evo's (2011+) do not even have the holes to bolt one down. It's been suggested by a couple tuners and Mitsubishi thought it pertinent to remove.

Timing chain has a little play, nothing big or medium hehehe

Changed oil and filter and installed ETS LICP on the Evo. Thoroughly inspected my GT-R and found only damage to top layer of lacquer on the splitter - hit a crow yesterday (and went over it with my left wheel) at cca 80 mph. I can feel very lucky, sometimes damage from birds can be MAJOR. Phew!
