Murlo your nuts! Nothing about your car drives better than stock. Your in need of your 4th clutch. Your traction sucks. You have lockout at high rpm. You almost always have fueling issues. A month ago you thought your motor was toast. Your Story goes on and on Every time you drive it hard you worry. What about that is better than stock?

It's smoother driving than stock as my tune is very well done. I am on my 2nd clutch, 1st one after stock actually. I put a new disc in when my motor was out last time as it was cheap and why not. And the track was the first time I ever had lockout issues, didn't stop me from driving home. My fueling issues, were just the same issue I have had for 2 years that I finally fixed with my new setup. I don't post whenever I drive hard, just after the track last time. I didn't know you knew my car as well as I do and everything I do with it ![]() And for the record I always think my car is broke, I am paranoid. Sometimes I am right, other times I am not.

Oh and the more I think about it, 3dman I think you are confusing driveability and reliability. Never said my evo was reliable and no 6/7/800whp car that comes stock with 1/3 the power is reliable at those levels. Doesn't mean that can't drive smooth.

My point murlo is not directed at you. Im simply saying in my opinion there are alot of sacrafices that have to be made to get from 500 to 600 whp. In my opinion they are not worth the problems that come with the extra 100 whp. Reliability sucks and well as drivability. In my opinion I would stay away from the 2000cc injectors at all cost.I know you are making huge sacrafices in your tune to run these injectors. You are idling at 12.0 or richer you have probably tuned your car in open loop.you may or may not be able to run ac but if you do i garantee its not like it was on smaller injectors. You loose alot by running that big of injector. You may have forgoten how sweet your car was when it was stock but I have not.

My car's driveability is awesome... Over 600 WHP uncorrected now.
Other than the clutch grab, you wouldn't know it's anything more than a basic bolt on Evo. Exhaust is nice and civilized, engine purrs like a kitten, transmission is nice and smooth from a fresh rebuild. It's pretty much amazing. I had a 550 WHP stripped out Galant V6 as my last project car - no A/C, no P/S, no heater, loud, obnoxious, broken every other day - and I'll never drive anything like that again. Even at 600 WHP, Evos can be very reliable... if the owner is also an experienced tuner and mechanic. lol, you really learn what to look for and start catching issues and reinforcing or fixing things before they go awry. Anyway, sorry for the Off Topic post...
