Thread bump with my perpetual work in progress

2.2 with GSC S2s
GTX3576 0.64
24psi up top
18* at 8000
IDCs 100%

The Green run has 1* more timing from 6500 compared to the other two.

because, erm .... down here it's made from sugar syrup, not corn syrup

BB - yeah i plan to crank it up, one more track day in November around 500whp to satisfy myself it's not going to grenade on me again, then fun times ahead.

Beeble, you should go ahead and add in 3 degrees of timing or so. I don't think you're anywhere close to MBT on E85.

baby steps as i sound out the SST and try to get it all happy.
but yeah i'm thinking 20/21* at 8000 is where I'll leave it. I'm definitely leaving ponies on the table right now.

Good plan

Even on higher compression I am running a tad more timing, 19*...from what I've seen its around 21/22 on E85.

yeah 21 is the furtherest i would go. i think 22 is pushing it, but I've seen some local tuners down here run 23!
for a track day tune 19* sounds very sensible to me
I'm on 9.5 CR, yours is 10 isn't it dave?

10:1 roughly yes. It was a bit higher as my head was decked last time, but I put a thicker head gasket in this summer too when I pulled the head. So somewhere around there.
