Any suggestions for a CARB legal intake on a 11 GSR? Know I will regret it later on if I get one without the sticker and then get smogged in CALI

I think the only CARB legal intakes are AEM and Injen. AEM has a box design similar to stock and I think Injen is a short pipe with an open filter?

Iirc the AEM in only CARB legal on 2008 USDM models.

You wont have to worry about smog for 6 years IIRC on new cars. Get AMS.

Between those two, Injen makes the all-famous and desired "whooooooosh" and whip-crack BOV sounds whereas the AEM does not. I know Paul Walker would have picked the Injen...that's why I picked the Injen. Paul Walker.

but I also live in CA and will be getting the AEM just because I don't want dick cops to pull me over and give me shit... especially in Daly City since all these damn ricers make so much lawn mower noise with their ebay intakes and mufflers...

AEM. It comes with the CARB sticker too...and it doesn't say "2008 models only." FTW
