The buzzing sound is due to the DRL's. The flicker may not be visible, but it is definitely causing your HID's to short out. Thus, damaging your HID Ballast and/or bulbs. I would recommend running your HID's ON 24/7 in the meantime, or consider purchasing a DRL Bypass.
