These days, weight is almost the same between 600-1000cc bikes. Not a whole lot of difference at all.

Funny you say Daytona. 2010 675SE here just until 2 months ago when I sold it. I got an offer I couldn't refuse and I wasn't even trying to sell it lol. Most nimble and slim bike I've owned.

I'm either looking into an MV Agusta F3 675 or a KTM RC-8 if I decide to go 1000cc.

ohhhh what a coincidence!

Oh you are such a baller with your MV and KTM options

Personally I would go for the MV agusta especially since its a 675 as well. But both bikes are new to me since I've been outta the scene for a few years.

Lol no, I don't have a boosted 'Busa yet. Will be looking to get the RCC kit soon though (next spring). But yes, its powerband for the thrill is around 8k RPM's, which is about 70MPH 2nd gear. That's where you just snap the throttle and it pulls like a freight train!

And yes, it is more bulky than liter or smaller bikes, but I still hang with them in the twisties here in the Ozark Mountains. Just takes a little more effort to swing it around!

In fact, the actual reason why I got a 'Busa initially is to boost it.

Question: Nervous about the stock Clutch Master Cylinder. Been reading around and doing searches, but what is the one CMC you would recommend for me to get? I am looking to order one as soon as possible and install immediately for a safety precaution.

Magnus and AMS both make a adapter plate which allows the use of a evo 9 CM.. I've had the magnus on for about a year now. But yeah get it upgraded soon.. My stocker split in half.. Thankfully my X was at the shop when it failed.. But many others aren't so lucky getting stranded on the side of the road..

I would have thought it be addressed already, when the clutch was done.

You would think, but hotdog never did replace it. As I ramp up on driving her more "aggressive," I need minimize all risk! Something small like this and being stranded in the backroads would really leave bitter taste in my mouth. lol
