I may not be coming up and I have 2 excuses why.

1) A huge pine tree with a 3ft-4ft diameter trunk and almost twice as tall as my folk's 2 story house crashed on our property and took 2 slightly smaller oaks down with it. Since my father works for ConEd (local utility company) and my brother is a mechanic they are both pulling long hours which leaves me the only one home this weekend to start cutting down these trees. My mother can't exactly use a chainsaw and the dog only carries twigs so I can't count on him.

2) There is no gas! What normally takes 10min on local roads has been taking 20+ minutes on highways to get to work to avoid down trees. Yesterday it took me an hour to get to work cause I tried every local way I knew before back tracking and going on the highway. So not only am I now low on gas but there is no gas to fill up with. Lots and lots of stations are closed. Those that are open have masses of people and will probably run out soon. I heard this morning Chris Christi signed something allowing gas stations to purchase gas from out of state so I'm hoping that goes into affect real soon.

it's completely understandable man...I wouldn't want you to risk anything trying to make it out here.

In my area a lot of gas stations are closed as well. I'm in NYC and the only gas stations open have at least 1.5 hour waits.

Today is the day guys...Our first meet will be at Noon! Dont worry for you guys who cant make it due to gas shortages, etc. I have already talked to Dino about making an exception for you guys who were affected by the storm.
