I'm on Eibach pro kit with 18x9.5+15 on 255/40 v12s and I had to roll the rears and tuck the front fender lining and I still have slight rub only at full lock in the front...I think 265/35s might fit slightly better based on how mine rubs but if you want to play it safe go with 255/35s (40s seem to have a little too much beef for my particular set up)...I wouldn't recommend 245/40 stock size tires since the stretch is a little much...you will have slightly more clearance though with the +20 offset...GL!

I'm on the eibachs as well letting the springs settle before alignment. So far no rub on stock tires and rims. Looking to get 18x9.5 +20. Hopefully I can get away with no rub with 255 40 tires.

With those specs and tires you will most likely rub in the rear.

How hard is it for a shop to roll the fenders on an X? The 07 STI is a pita due to the flares on them. Do I have to worry about anything out of the norm? I'm going to start with stock ride height first when I do the grids +20 wrapped with 255/40.

I had a forum member (markspd) on here roll my rears at his house using a roller and it took a few hours, but it can take longer. I would find a shop with specific experience in rolling fenders (usually a performance alignment shop or a performance shop in general have these services) cause a bad roll can come out looking janky when you look at it from different angles. Overrall, it is not a hard process though and a rear roll should be all you need. The fronts are a pita and are much harder to do and much easier to mess up, but I think tucking your front fender lining will be sufficient for your offset. Also, you won't need to have your rear fenders pulled only rolled in your size.

Stock height approximately -2/-1 camber will fit a 265 without rubbing?! If that's the case then I might be onboard. I can't seem to get my head around doing spring again...blah!

There's a detail/custom shop that does quite a bit of body work in CT. They did a nice clean job on my STI no broken flares Last thing I wernt to do is slice the shit out of teh sidewalls and the outer edges of my tires again like I did on the STI. Looked like crap and made me nervous! What exactly is fender liner tucking? Never heard that phrase before only fender rolling and fender lip grinding.

I do agree though that 265's on that wheel will probably need the rear fenders rolled, but that would be it. I lot of guys around here like a big fat sidewall, where I personally like the slight stretch of 245's to stiffen the sidewall up a little...but it doesn't look super, poked out rim stretched. Tire brand depends on what kind of tire you want and how much life you want out of it.

Here's a couple pictures of what my car looks like on Eibachs...18x9.5+22 with 245's, -1.5° front camber and -1° rear...no fender roll, no rubbing.

It looks fine, some might not even consider that stretched, are those the stock advans ? im thinking of the same setup wit my x
