discreet data logger

I'm looking for a small data logger that uses wifi or something that can be built in to the Evo X. I want it to monitor boost/temp/pressure/etc and with good data logging capabilities. (I don't want to have my dash full of pods, gauges etc)

I was originally looking at the AiM MyChron3 Gold but it doesn't really look like it can be built in to the dash. I would even go for something that has usb ports that I can plug in a ipad, monitor etc to. Anyone know of any hardware/software that is capable of this?

I just picked up a bt obdII and I'm running torque pro on android. I haven't done any logging but read into it. It's pretty good so far but I just used the gauges(boost, throttle position).

It will log and it will use the phone's GPS and save your trip and show you how fast you were going at different points. It's pretty good.

It's not available for the Iphone, only android.

Tactrix cable seems to fit your needs, no? It logs everything to microSD Or you can plug it into a laptop and run some Evoscan

This is definitely the most cost effective and discreet solution if you want to log but don't want/need to view the info/gauges while driving. Search standalone datalogging tactrix and you will find a lot of great info on it. Could also check out the evodroid7 keep it stashed in the glovebox for discrete and put it on the suction cup mount if/when you want live viewing.

How easy is it to monitor data (pressure, temperature, etc) with the Solo DL?

I was looking at the EvoScan GPS Navigator and I liked that one too; but, I didn't see any sort of lap timer/track capabilities like the Solo DL.

The other recommendations that were given to you are not for laptiming or track datalogging. Solo DL really is your best best.

You have to get the CAN line connector. It's one wire to tap into. Very easy. Very reliable. AiM software is initially difficult to figure out, but very powerful. Here's the link that shows you how to install the Solo DL through the CAN line, and what the CAN line will log for you:

I messed around with Harry's laptimer and RaceChrono for a little bit. However, those options have reliability issues and the datalogging leaves much to be desired. I finally did some research, bit the bullet, and got the Solo DL. I've never looked back. I've been very happy with it.

The Solo DL looks very attractive but does it allow for monitoring of temp./press./etc. to the extent of EvoScan? If so, the choice is obvious.
