Tpms give a warning when a low pressure situation occurs. I sometimes run my R compounds 15 - 20 psi over my street tires without any tpms warning lights going off.

Im interested, can you explain why youre running them at that pressure and when youre doing it?

I run them that high on first the run of day on cold tires , if it is cool outside I might do a second run that way. As the tires build heat I drop to 8-15 over daily pressure which is 35 psi for me. I chalk the tires to see where the tread is making contact in between every run as well and adjust the pressures depending on how the tires are rolling over.

The higher pressures keep the tire from rolling over on hard turns, I put as much air on cold tires as I can before the pressure starts to deform the tire, trying to keep the contact patch as flat as possible. This is where chalking the tire comes in. By experience on my setup I know that I can run 48-52 PSI on my first run of the day and build heat into the tires within two runs on a cool day. Once the tires heat the pressure in them goes up so I lower them to a point where I think that grip will be maxed out, usually at 42-45 PSI but they have to be monitored in between every run as they can get too hot too quickly and will need to be watered down. There are so many factors involved such as outside temp, lot conditions, sun, frequency of runs etc, etc.. that it is hard to pin down a set pressure for all runs. My times seem to improve when I am running warm tires at about 44 psi on a typical day.

I got my sensors in the mail today. VERY QUICK SHIP.
He labeled them 1-4 which corrisonds to the list of codes you send him. I then wrote LF, LR, RF, RR on them (left front, right rear ect) If you dont mind me asking, What are the DC numbers? |

nope - location on the car doesn't matter - this is what allows you to rotate the tires to different spots. I mark the sensors and boxes they come in for your info only. In case there is a problem down the road with a sensor you know which one went bad.
The DC numbers are your decimal codes converted to hexadecimal. Hexadecimal is how the codes are programmed into the sensit tool.
