its 2.4 and fp black but i dont think you gona hit 500 whp on 91 octane
Especially on the track you have to run lower boost or you gona melt something Also you need surge tank there is to many evo 10s that had fuel starvation and went kaboom on a track

A black on a 2.4L will spool well before 4000rpms.
On my 2.0L I was hitting 38psi at like 4200rpms, you will probably be running 25-27psi, so I'd expect that by like 3500 maybe sooner with those small cams and ported stock exhaust manifold, it will be responsive. 500whp should be doable with that much displacement even with 91 I think, you might have to port the intake mani, tb and go to a tubular manifold, but who knows haven't seen a setup similar to that on 91 before.

Here is what my black did on my 2.0L and gsc s2 cams.
![]() 4100rpms was 35psi, I think you should be well under 4000 rpms for spool

As of right now one of your main parts for that set up should be an ATI super damper, I'll have more information later but for a stroked high powered car running time attack you will need it.

HW please fill me in with as much info as you can about that. Not sure why the pulley would matter that much.
And murlo i did some porting myself, nothing major but i smoothed it all out. I didnt touch the TB though because im afraid ill take to much off and the blade wont have a good seal. Head before ![]() After ![]() ![]() As for what my spool should be, that would be fucking amazing if i had full spool by 3500.

I doubt you'll have it on the black by 3500 unless you're on E-85. On the Red I bet you would no problem.

Well anything around 4000 is my goal. Clipse had my Red peak boost by 4300. So if the black can do better with a different tuner + added displacement, then thats "ballin" lol.
