Rpm raise when clutch is depressed.

Even when I am in neutral, when I kick in the clutch my rpm raise. Only at the bottom inch or so does this occur. Im running an exedy twin. Anybody else have this happen or know why it would?

Happens to me on the stock clutch. Very very minimal change in rpm though.

I have an exedy twin as well and run into this too. I don't feel it's an issue of any sort, although I don't know exactly why it happens. Only get the rpm lift when at low speed and slowing down. Sometimes it bounces like 500-750 rpm repeatedly while I'm braking until I come to a complete stop, then idles normally. I figured it may also have to do with my 214b cams though. Guess I don't completely understand it as well though.

Mines brand new, bone stock and does this as well. Very slight rpm change also.

I've also noticed this happens more in cold weather. Sometimes I get a long rev hang when depressing clutch, like it'll jump up 1k rpm and hang for a few seconds before dropping. This doesn't happen often, but it seems like it happens more in cold weather since we are in the teens-20's in IL the past week or two.

Yea I've noticed the rev hang and the higher rpm idle at stoplights in colder weather and higher elevations recently too, don't think it's anything to worry about.

Same here, noticed it a lot when the car is still warming up and I'm coming to a halt at a light. Drives normal though after a little driving.

And I live 30 minutes away from you
