Spark Plug Suggestions

Gents (and ladies)

I'm going to replace the plugs prior to my upcoming tune and am curious if there are any benefits to changing from the OEM NGK Iridium plugs - or if I should just pick up a set of OEM from someone like MAPerformance.

They also have some HKS plugs - any difference in quality?

In the blown up motor thread there are few guys who had spark plug issues which in turn detonated their motors - I don't want to be one of those guys!

Stick with OE, they're the best for the 4B11T.
Just change them out far more frequently than the manual says to

The facts are that all those folks detonated their engines to death which destroyed the spark plugs. And when they pulled the spark plugs to inspect, that's the first thing they say.

Upon further inspection, they all had pieces of pistons missing. And that's what damaged the spark plugs.

The newer design (dual electrode) Mitsu plug is fine. I've never had an issue with one.
