Vibration With Acceleration - Post H&R Spring Install

Had some H&R springs installed a few months ago and have noticed during acceleration a vibration in the steering wheel. Had everything realigned, wheels rebalanced - the issue persists. I've read about the whole 'axle geometry' and putting more stress on the CV joints. Would installing a RCA kit solve my issue? Or should I look into installing less aggressive springs? Anyone else share similar experiences after installing springs?

See here:

one of my posts from that thread:

"All good things to check, unfortunately, I've done all of this, exhaustively. Some things to note.... I've put my stock springs on, and the vibration is COMPLETELY gone. None whatsoever. BUT, with a car load of people, it comes right back. I'm absolutely 100% certain, that is' ride height related. With Eibachs, it was quite noticeable with just me in the car. Swift Sports, less noticeable but still just barely there, with stock springs, it's gone. Load up the back of the car with a couple fat asses, it's back. Mind you, these vibrations are only under WOT and most noticeable in the higher gears (3 and up typically). I've already made one trip to the dealer. They could not replicate the problem. Next trip I'm going to take a ride with a few techs loaded in the car to show them specifically what I'm talking about. I have a good feeling that it's the rear half shafts. The CV joints are at an angle that is allowing them to resonate or vibrate under torque. As I've said before, just google "vibration under acceleration". Lots of threads with lots of different makes and models. VW guys experience it, Mini's, Hondas, all kinds of cars. The only thing that frustrates me is that it seems to be a hit or miss things on the Evo's."

Good luck figuring it out.

Thanks for the feedback and I did see that post after doing some research over these last few days. I was hoping I'd find more solutions, but it seems most people just deal with it or switch to stockers. Before I go spending more money on another spring install, I'll just get the RCA kit installed when I upgrade my turbo in a few months. If that doesn't help, I'll have some Swifts installed.

Any spring that lowers the car, yes. But not all Evo's seem to be affected by it, or the drivers aren't as susceptible to it as others...who knows.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. There are literally hundreds of people on this forum with lowering springs. This topic doesnt come up that often, and i havent yet seen it be the springs themselves.

I have H&R springs, never once have I had this issue. No other suspension mods, did get it aligned the day I installed them too.

I realize that it does not come up that often, but it DOES come up. There are several affected by it. It is a known issue on several other cars. Broad tolerances on the inner CV cup are likely the culprit. Some have the issue, most don't. As I said, I put on my stock springs and the issue was gone. How do explain that?

^True, and neither are the Swift Sports. I ended up sticking with those as the vibration was barely noticeable. That is why I was saying that possibly some have it but don't really realize it because they aren't looking for it, or aren't as sensitive to it because they aren't aware that such an issue could arise.
