Remember that he drives an MR and that a new shift knob is nothing more than a decoration. Shift knobs are only functional to people with manual transmissions (GSRs).

I would just focus on getting him something he'll use on his car or use in some other way often (and think about you while using it). While I appreciate the sentiment I hate when people buy me useless things. I constantly tell my GF all the things i'd like (radar detector, GoPro 3, videogames, computer parts, etc...) but don't have the money for and some how end up with weird gifts where it seems like she tried way too hard.

She did actually get me something nice this year. I hate how my cats like to sit and stand in front of the TV or paw the screen. She got me a 6 shot Nerf handgun to shoot at them. I've actually not gotten to use it in a while because they've learned not to go up there anymore lol.

He has a radar already! Great suggestion though. Who wouldn't want one for those days? Hahah that's actually why I considered getting one as well. He did ask me to model for his car, I agreed to only if he got in the shots with me xD I don't get why he was so like Noooo about that. Lol thank you

Because guys dont want to see themselves on their own car lol. Having a nice car and having your girlfriend model on it is priceless! He can show his friends and theyd be like "dammnn son who dat girl" and he be like "thats my girl yo!" And they be like "dammnnn son!" Haha it may just be me though
