Noise and the weight loss both the pipe and your wallet (that's a joke btw I dont really think you can feel the loss is 3 pounds)

It was a smooth install , the turbo outlet section was the hardest to put in and the coupler on the lower section of the pipe on the intercooler was maybe a bit short. But no problems took it for a test drive and no blow outs.

how come on some evos, the radiator shround has the oval opening to show more of the intercooler pipes where it about to bend down?

It depends on the thickness. Because its not really supporting any kind of weight besides itself, it can be pretty thin for air piping. It will tear apart somewhat easily when its so thin and trying to bend it. Plus, pie cut is so badass.
