Since there's really no manual for ECUFlash, I've decided that we should make our own on here, section at a time.
Some time ago, we started with the Turbo related maps under ECUflash. We are also in the process of covering the Fuel related maps. This thread can be used for a discussion, and once we iron out the details, I'll add it into the ECUFlash Evo X User Manual.
Please use the format below to describe each map:
Map Name: Map Dimensions: Map Axes: Map Units: Min/Max values of Units: Map Description: Reasons to modify this map: Tuning Tips: Warnings & Considerations:
Map Name: 1st gear TPS limiter (Drive), 1st gear TPS limiter (Reverse) Map Dimensions: 1x18 Map Axes: RPM Map Units: Throttle Percentage Min/Max values of Units: 0-100 Map Description: This is a straightforward map. From the factory, throttle position is limited at certain RPMs in first gear as to limit torque. Reasons to modify this map: To allow for full throttle (at the throttle body) throughout the entire RPM range of first gear. Tuning Tips: Set all of the values in this map to 100 for smaller turbo cars. On larger turbo cars, reduce this in high rpm area to help car get out of first gear before hitting the rev limit. Warnings & Considerations: This my accelerate wear on your transmission.

Map Name: SST Clutch Pressure Ramp Up - A/B/C Map Dimensions: 21 x 16 Map Axes: Unknown vs RPM Map Units: Arbitrary units? PSI? Min/Max values of Units: 0-765 Map Description: This map "controls" the pressure applied to the clutches. Reasons to modify this map: To stop clutch slip. Tuning Tips: Log the appropriate clutch slip value (odd or even, depending on what gear you're working in) during a WOT pull in S-Sport mode. If slip is evident, increase the values little at a time where the slip occurs. Warnings & Considerations: Larger numbers will result in less slip and harder shifts.
SST Upshift - Lower Bound Fueling Same as lower bound timing but applies to fueling during shift
SST Upshift - Lower Bound Timing same as the primary table of same description but applied during shift
SST Upshift - Lower Bound Timing Reduction vs Load/RPM same as the primary table of same description but applied during shift
SST Clutch Pressure Ramp Up - A/B/C These need to be adjusted similar to other platforms with automatic transmissions. (Nissan, GM)
SST Clutch Pressure - Unknown touchy table. Effects shifting and clamping. Normally leave it alone unless other more straight forward adjustments are not working.
SST Clutch Pressure Ramp Up - Adjust Offset 2D
SST Throttle Requested Torque Map #1 - Liftoff somewhat throttle related. Effects shift firmness in a linear fashion. Increases clamping. Usually works best if somewhat lower than 2 and 3
SST Throttle Requested Torque Map #2 - Cold/Interpolated see above
SST Throttle Requested Torque Map #3 - Hot/Interpolated see above
SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map stock values should work if everything else is correct
SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map Percent stock values should work if everything else is correct
SST Throttle Requested Torque Ramp Rate - SST Normal Mode stock values should work if everything else is correct
SST Throttle Requested Torque Ramp Rate - SST Sport Mode stock values should work if everything else is correct
SST Throttle Requested Torque Ramp Rate - SST S-SPort Mode stock values should work if everything else is correct
SST Torque Limit #1 - Error should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Limit #2 - Cold/Interpolated should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Limit #3 - Hot/Interpolated should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Limit #4 - Unknown should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Map #1 - Error (unknown) should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Map #2 - Cold/Interpolated (unknown) should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Map #3 - Hot/Interpolated (unknown) should be relative to actual torque output of vehicle
SST Torque Limit Reduction Table by RPM (CPRU_A)
SST Torque Limit Reduction Table by RPM (TqLimit_2_3)
SST Torque Limit Reduction Table by RPM (TqLimit_4, CPRU_C)
SST Max Requested Torque Limit can be raised slightly. If other tables are out of whack you can get side effects
SST Torque Reduction On Exceedance zero complete table
How the transmission determines where it is in the map during operation is very dependent on how the ecu itself is calculating load. Because of this, once you get beyond high stock turbo power levels, what works on one car does not necessarily work on another. These things all need to be in balance with each other.
So we seem to have a discrepancy on the SST Throttle Requested Torque Subtractor Map. Richardh is saying to zero it out, kozmic is saying to keep it stock...
