I got my relay. Quick question is the line for the power hook up the same way with the evo? I know your intructions are for the lancer being that the evo battery is in the trunk.

make sure u dont get the this kit wet cause it will short the transistor in the circuit...it happened to me

^wow really it's hard not to get it wet because your running it across the inside of the bumper. Just the plugs don't get wet right?

Uhh, that shouldn't happen. Especially with the weatherproof connectors. Where did the water get into the harness to short the resistor?

can someone help me with the install im kinda confuse. when i plug the harness wires to take place of the wire going into the ballast plugs. where do i plug the wires that were there to? heres a sketch i made..(sorry not the greatest)

I just don't know how it happened al I know when it stop working I took it all apart and just saw the resistor broke off and a lot of corrosion around the resistor

Thats where you connect to power under the hood of the evo. works great.

Oh and I made a comment at the first of this thread about buying a 20.00 harness....I bought my first one from "x" company and didn't work right. looks almost identical. However, this one works great! Works as advertised.
