I just installed a Kakimoto single tip cat back exhaust. 3 inch main piping and a 4.5 inch outlet. It's not too loud idling or at low RPMs but at full boost it sounds like a jet plane taking off. It feels alot better than stock especially at higher RPMs, the boost went up a little so I had to adjust the EVC setting. The cost was about $600 USD.
After I wrecked it, I traded it in for the Hi Lux Surf (4 Runner). The car was totalled but they took it for about $9000 USD. I also had full coverage insurance so I got about $30000 USD from insurance. Back then I was heavy into snowboarding that's why I got the 4 Runner and spent most of the money on snowboarding trips all around the world.

I miss being stationed in Japan. I am suppose to go tdy there next month, I am hoping to pick up some parts and see what people are doing with the evo x's over there.
What base? I work in Camp Zama (US Army Garrison, Japan). If you're coming here, come to the NTV motor pool (I'm the truckmaster) and you see my EvoX parked outside.
Looks nice, but I'm not big on the big cans. A 3" tip would suffice for me.
