I just installed the torque solutions short shifter, base bushings, under hood shifter bushings and gate selector bushing yesterday. Got it on Black Friday for $155 shipped. Install was easy except for the gate selector, minor modification necessary, not a big deal. Overall impression... Awesome. Best feeling shifter I have ever felt by far. Quick, accurate, tight shifts. No one really complains about evo shifters in car reviews. They all say the gearbox is good (except for lack of consistent clutch engagement due to clutch pill, mine is long gone). This is soooo much better. For the price, there is no better modification. Highly recommend.

I have the same Torque Solutions Short Shifter and I agree. It is awesome. Very easy to install. Inexpensive compared to pretty much any other Evo x part.
