COBB Tuning releases Updates for EVO X AccessPORT and AccessTUNER
Following customer feedback and exhaustive R&D testing, COBB Tuning has released a major update to the EVO X AccessPORT and AccessTUNER tuning platform. These revisions fix several bugs to the original software as well as update some key features for easier operation and more intuitive logging and tuning.
A new AccessPORT firmware version is now available as part of this revision. All EVO X AccessPORTs will need to be updated to take advantage of these upgrades.
The following revisions have been made:
Anti-theft Maps revised to v1.02 for 2008 USDM EVO X and 2008 USDM
EVO X MR
Firmware update on AP-MIT-002 to v.1.3.2.2-11209
AccessTUNER Pro and AccessTUNER Race (various EVO X only) updated to version 1.7.3.1-11191
Please notify COBB Tuning customer support if any issues are encountered with this new update by phone at 801-713-0035 or by email at tech@cobbtuning.com
AccessTUNER Race for 64-bit OS is still in the works, we don't have an ETA on that yet. The latest firmware reads boost correctly and you will not have to update to a BETA version of the firmware.
Have you guys been able to look into why people are overboosting on the AEM intake maps? Mine continues to do so even on the stage 2 tune now, and I still have the boost pill in!!!! Same code everytime P1235....thanks
^^^ Yes I would also like to know this. And is live tuning possible? I read through the help pdf on ATR and it was saying to connect the laptop to the car so im guessing we can just live tune without having to upload to AP everytime making it a hassle?
You do not need to convert your maps at all for this new firmware update, simply do the update and go. We did the serial # lock to prevent commercial use of AccessTUNER Race. You can still swap maps like before, simply open a given map in your copy of ATR and then save it and it will be useable on with your AccessPORT and your copy of AccessTUNER Race.
