Hyper Ground System L-Type:

Normally, electric current flows from a positive terminal to a negative terminal through the cars body however, with factory grounding there is a large amount of resistance in place. This resistance disturbs the natural flow of electricity so as to inhibit the electrical components such as the ECU, headlight's and spark plugs from performing at their peak efficiencies. In order to pull the most performance out of any vehicle, it is necessary to achieve a maximum electrical flow with the least resistance along the circuit as possible. This is where the H.G.S comes in - Essentially, the H.G.S does to your electrical circuitry the same thing a higher flowing intake or exhaust will do for your gas. It will allow a higher volume of clean flowing energy, thus increasing horsepower and overall efficiency. This system has been used by Japanese WRC racing teams for years, has been proven by dyno and oscillograph testing time and time again.

As the Evo X has a rear mounted battery, we are required to use the L-Type (long type) to run from the trunk to the engine bay.

Q&A:

Q.What is the Hyper Voltage GT System?
A. The Hyper Voltage GT is the is the offspring of the original Hyper Voltage System which debuted originally at the Tokyo Auto Salon in April 2003, and again later that year at the International Auto Salon. The device is designed to work in conjunction with the Hyper Ground System, which plugs directly into the 3 sockets in the back of the H.V.GT. This provides a cleaner install.

Q. Whats included?
A. Besides the 1 extra Hyper Ground Cable, the package includes a universal bracket, heavy-duty double sided tape and zip ties. It also has a built in LED which functions as a battery monitor.

Q. How do I mount it?
A. The unit itself mounts universally to the battery by utilizing the included mounting bracket, double sided tape and zip-ties. The wires are to be connected to the battery (+ and -). The included H.G.S cable is to be plugged into one of the 3 available sockets and the other end to either the cylinder head, intake manifold or block etc. The unit can fit 2 additional H.G.S cables for increased performance.

Q. That looks like its pretty big!
A. Actually, the unit itself is quite small considering the size of most things in your engine bay. It's been quoted to be about "a little thicker than a cigarette box".

Q. How does it work?
A. The H.V.GT System acts very much like a capacitor. It stabilizes the voltage of the battery so that it will remain at peak efficiency even under load from things like the A/C, Audio System, Navi, Headlights etc. You ever noticed how your interior lights dim when you turn on your headlights? Not anymore!

Hot InaZma ECO:

The Hot InaZma ECO is fine-tuned to providing better gas mileage and reducing emissions, while still providing many of the benefits of the H.V.GT System. One of the main differences is that this model lacks the 3 sockets in the back to connect to the Hyper Ground System, as this one works as a standalone unit. I've got a HotInazmaPocket on my car and I really like it, you will see slightly better MPG with it. Also, I really didn't feel a power difference while driving with the AC off, but when I have it on; my car feels 100% normal... No more loss of power like I used to have.

The most beneficial overall of the grounding would have to be the Hyper Voltage GT System. It provides the most Hp & Tq gains overall, increases you MPG and you can plug the Hyper Ground Cables into it for an even greater effect or it can be used as a standalone unit.
