It could be done, but you wont like the price tag that comes with it.

I dont know for sure, Im just saying...theoretically.

Those requirements can already be had with the current X. I have gotten 26.5mpg on a recent trip at hwy speeds. Now if they had put a taller 5th gear in it would be even better mpg's.

He's saying that he wouldnt care if it was a hybrid as long as it was the same performance-wise.

It's too early to panic. In fact the a performance engine/motor combination is intriguing IMO.

lol good bye tuning. How do you tune a hybrid seriously? Will this hybrid even have a turbo? I think the big power days will be over if the XI is hybrid.

Lets see mitsu fuck up this one. If any one from Mitsu is reading, please note: we buy your cars because we can compete with douche bags who ride in stock exotics thinking they own the road by modifying the car and releasing you from your headache of warranties.
If you were to introduce a hybrid, no one would modify their car in a way that would void the warranty = more headache for u
Your move..

Very true, but who gives a shit about saving gas and the environment lol
these cars are ment to drive fast and hard, seems like they keep adding more weight and trying to do things to make it better on gas.. kinda gay IMO

There is some serious acceleration to be had from electronic motors and it may cut down on city mpg wear. Well have to wait and see...

LOL comparison? U were talking about heritage.... Heritage in the Evo was keeping the 4G63... A new almunium block is completelty different and a new motor is not in the spirit of the older generations. Get over it. A SST is not in keeping with heritage too, accept change and we can't stick with petrol motors forever as they are not the most efficient motor.
