we don't either (in the sense of gifts, cards, flowers, etc) but the wife still gets all emotional and lovey dovey for whatever reason. Not that I mind lol.

. If you do start liking the DBA role and get comfortable with it, you should eventually start looking at an Oracle Apps DBA as a growth path. Pay is really good and teaches you a lot about business too. It also allows you to diversify into the more technical modules that Oracle Apps has to offer. Just a suggestion. Lets not forget the consulting roles it will start offering you....full expenses paid.

Got some snow in Durhham. It was coming down pretty good for a while with some big flakes. Too warm to stick though
