According to the Service Manual, all the running lights (corner markers, tail lights, number plate lights) are all handled by the ETACS chassis computer. And there is only one fuse that feeds that box, so if ONLY the front markers are off then it's either just those bulbs, the harnesses are disconnected/ damaged or the ETACS computer has failed.

The test procedure involves having a special tool that plugs into the OBD port and exercises assorted ETACS outputs and mentions having test harnesses available.

Check at least one bulb and if it's good, it's sounds like dealer time.

I hope the "motor issues" didn't cause the lamps to fail. That would be bad.

Mine went out a while ago on the same day as well but the dealer changed them out
