How To "ruin" A $40k Car - EvoXForums.com

in the words of my wife, these are the results of being a lazy-ass track junkie who does half-assed mods........

there's my front license plate which looks like shit up close

when i tried to make a e-brake mount for my zune(which busted after 2 weeks)

not my fault; came like this, car was used dealer was 2000 miles away, never did anything about this

dirty engine bay. sorry, no jdm bling here

tiny scratches from auto-x and every day use

took out fog lights for better cooling stretched mesh i had in garage as much as i could so i wouldn't haveto spend more money

unwashed wheels and burned calipers

my dirty ass

was planning on removing wing, filling in holes and then repainting, but changed my mind...

acetone damage from quickly going over primer also on rear bumper but cant see with dirt

this is area with most scratches but cant see with dirt

was also hit by old lady in post office parking lot, but no worse than a door ding

so i have a few reasons for not washing my car, plus i dont get every 5 mins "hey man, thats a sweet-ass ride!"

you're probably thinking "is this really necessary?" well, you are correct but i presently have nothing to do. retirement is awesome, and i'm not even technically "retired" yet

i know i made mistakes, but function goes over form anyday. and i do still get compliments when i rains hard and my car has an almost shiney appearance
