The 2.2 is just an overbore and it will spin much further
Then a 2.3 stroker. I doubt I will spin this motor fast enough to steam out an FP_Black.

Nice so you'll be able to have a high rev motor!

No, he won't have a high rev motor. His is a stroker, so therefore the max rev limiter will be lower.

It'll be interesting to see how much head room an FP Black has. My guess is both his motor, and mine (2.5) will see an FP Black dropping off way before our stroker-imposed rev limit. I hate to keep quoting Murlo's build, but he's the only relevant one out there: Look at his dyno, see where he's dropping off, then figure we'll drop off even sooner due to displacement increase.

What manifold are you going with? What fueling? E85? What injectors, and fuel pump solution? Whose rods? They look similiar to mine:

Which are K1 rods. Kind of hard to tell from your picture to mine, and I honestly don't remember if mine had that indentation on the back side.

I have dw1000 injectors, walbro pump with a UR pump adapter. My rods are Manley I beam using arp fasteners.

Stock manifold, with P&P and coating.

Will only be running 91/94 octane.

I def don't want to loose the spool using a tubular manifold.

Says who? People who have had *issues* have typically been on the 1300's although the real issue may be on the tuning itself but that's a whole different thread. I have the old 1000's b4 it was temporarily discontinued but I will be upgrading in the next month or so and these will have to go. 0 problems thus far.

i read the dw1300's had issues, not the dw1000. We'll when we put it on the dyno and the fucking this sputters you better believe they are going to be sent the F-k back to DW with a box of "slap in the face" coupons.

Are you sure? How does one re-manufacture an injector to flow more? Like drill out tiny particle holes for the spray to throw more fluid out? I dont understand this concept...............

Do you guys know of any machine shop that could salvage this head?

Like 1mm oversize valves and honing out the damage?

is that even possible?
