There have been a number of "higher profile" DW injector failures; Indy, Weebles had a decently documented one, Legendary_Wraps had a set fail.

That's not to say "omfg they're all bad" or "the set you have are going to fail, period", but if you're choosing injectors, you can:

1) Choose DW, who has had big name failures.
or
2) Choose FIC, who has not had big name failures.

The pricing is a wash, though the higher flow FICs get expensive, while DW simply doesn't have anything over ~1300.

I went FIC, personally.

I certainly wish you the best. I'd like there to be more competition in the 1300+ size injectors; right now FIC can charge whatever-the-fuck-they-want in that arena, as no one else has anything up there except the epic fail that is Injector Dynamics.

What trans brackets were missing that caused such a failure?

TheNEWB: There are Plug and Play add-ons for the FIC1100s (Check MAPerformance) and ID1000s i think are PnP too, but is that enough for the FPBlack on a 2.3L
