ABS? Sensor or retainer plastic clip broken.

I noticed this a couple weeks ago when I was doing my oil change. It's a plastic piece that stradles the bottom of the strut tower.

Here's the front side of the front drivers side strut tower:

And the rear side of the front passenger side strut tower:

Both clips are completely broken on the front and rear sides of the strut and basically just sitting there. I used electrical tape to tape them in place. Anywone else had this issue?

mine look like that. I noticed it when I installed my springs. Those are the Speed Sensor Clips. I am trying to find a replacement set right now.

haven't had any problems or trouble with it. I tried taping it on but that didn't really work lol. It stays in that position, so we'll see what happens

I broke mine from continual strut removal/install and a lack of patience. It's part #4670A301. Just order two from mitsubishiparts.net .

Ahhh! You are my hero! I searched the entire service manual for that part number but couldn't find it. Any idea if the rears use the same clip?

Thanks much!

One of mine has been broke for a while as well. It still stays in place so I don't consider it a problem.
