BTC. Blame the Customer.

Happens too often, and will literally destroy a business.

CBRD and Forged are 2 of the biggest shops on the east coast, perhaps the biggest, and this has nothing to do with "you gotta pay to play".
I understand that some of these shops should back up their business by addressing issues with solutions. Unfortunately, CBRD and FORGED are operated by Monkiey's/a monkey. Running a Mickey Mouse show.

You have to pay to play. My opinion.... Why does ONE not choose AMS? Regardless if they f'd up in the past. Why does ONE not choose AMS to build the bottom, swap, tune, etc their car? PRICE. Look at dnetcrawler's beast....... Homeboy paid to play. his build is EPIC cause he didn't skimp on himself and his investment. If he would've done several providers (builders, swaps, tunes), shit.... His story would be an epic fail. He is the best example on this board. PAY TO PLAY. Dude ain't skimping on a damn dollar and look at his ish.

Just saying guys. We all own a nice piece of machinery... Quit taking shortcuts and going to cheap route.

I certainly wouldn't consider it an investment. Us spending money on our cars is in fact far from an investment. Its a lose lose situation that you will very seldom, if at all, ever find someone who came out on top in the end. So I wouldn't refer to it as an investment..

Location was a factor to me and I was referred to forged by a friend with an Sti. I went to their open house and talked with them and seeing their shop cars I assumed they were competent. I think in reality they just don't give a shit about customer return rate because they have massive volume coming through. 45k isn't the cheap route, and I had no previous knowledge to the platform before forged did the original build. From the minimal tuning scene in Franklin Tennessee I thought that I was doing it right the first time by going to forged. If I could do it again would I go with a more reputable shop like AMS? Of course, but hindsight is 20/20, and NO shop should treat a customer this way.

Agreed. Money pit.

However I think for some, it's an investment. Investment in one's self.

Is she your girlfriend or wife? Didn't know you boys were letting your girlfriends control your budget.
