Exactly. I run a business, too. In the hospitality business you learn how to manage things like this. Sure, it's not on the level of a $10,000 motor build, but just because the scale is much larger doesn't mean the responsibility is negated or downsized. If anything the responsibility on the service providers part is larger. We, the customer, are choosing them to do something big over the competition because we trust them. If they screw up they better make it right or they should prepare to lose a lot of business.

It's funny because there is so much that goes on in the car community that is unsaid. There is a huge lack of transparency.
People just getting into the car scene generally go with the big names. People who've been in the car scene for a long time don't. There's a reason for this. |

I really wish you the best of luck Nathan.
But, I really doubt that the shop that built your engine will warrant it or do any work for free. If they were the only ones that built it, installed parts, tuned it, then yes, they should warrant your engine no problem. But there have been multiple people that have worked on and tuned the car. I am really sorry. That car ran good and pulled like hell. Let me know if you need any help.

Thanks guys, as far as the fuel issue goes i have been wondering if they are related as well. The problem is that I cannot figure out what could be wrong with the fuel system besides something being wrong with the pressure in my intake manifold. The motor was tuned by the shop they referred me to and was never abused.
The fact of the matter is the entire set up was built by them, it was basically stock when it got there. I have been having issues ever since the build, and the majority of the time i've had it back it has been either sitting in my garage, or at the shop they told me to go to. All the work that has been done since has been in vain to fix a problem that started as soon as i got the car back. Tobz told me that the car was lean in the top end for some reason when i brought it in the first time, so we tuned it down a bit and i stayed out of the high rpms. I had to go buy another car so that i wouldnt hurt this one by driving it and pulled it apart to find the pistons thrashed on the sides but they have no pock marks or signs of harsh conditions on the top...
